After recieving about a 1/2 inch of rain the trails are as hard as concrete. I could probably work some of it up for some skate skiing but I'd rather not do that to my equipment. And I'll appreciate the break this weekend. Maybe we'll see more snow late next week.
It was a great day for skiing. The skate deck on the road and the new classic tracks on the lake were my highlights. Should be good tomorrow morning also.
Pilot Knob road
The trail was pretty icy after a warm week. I made multiple passes over the skate decks on both the road and the lake. It should be good skating until it warms up again Saturday.
I couldn't do anything with the old classic tracks. But I did groom a new set of tracks on the lake since there is plenty of snow there.
Beautiful morning at Pilot Knob today! It was neat to see people enjoying the road and the lake.
